Not that anyone particularly cares, but I've decided its time to update my piddly little Macbook. There are really only two possible upgrades, so I'm doing both.
First I'm going to max out my memory capacity. Though overall my performance is still pretty good, programs such as Parallels can really kill your system performance. Luckily upgrading Mac memory is dirt cheap using top of the line, and my former employer, Micron/Crucial memory. In fact doubling my memory capacity to 2 GB costed me a measly 30 bucks. Half of what I paid for dinner last week with Missy.
Second upgrade is going to be the hard drive. I decided to go all out and upgrade to Seagates top of the line 500 GB, 7200 RPM beast. This upgrade will first and foremost significantly increase my disk capacity, allowing me to keep my full music collection on me at all times. In addition I expect a pretty nice performance boost due to the increase disk rotation speed and 16 MB onboard cache.
Anyway I'm pretty stoked.

Passing on the Word
Alex sent me this email, I'm passing on the word!
You may (or may not) know that I worked for ACORN back in 2001, and have worked together with them on dozens of union, community and political campaigns since then. I also know that voter registration campaigns are tough to run, and that ACORN has been as completely above board as you can be. Democracy is hard, and it can get messy. I thought I'd forward this around, please pass it on to people you know. And if you can give, I'd encourage that as well (I think Barack is OK on money right now).

Dear Friend,
If you've been watching the news, you' ve seen that the attack on ACORN is shaping up to be the most vicious of the 2008 election. The problem is, they will have to suffer the consequences long after the election is over. They need our help. Click here:

I don't if you know a lot about ACORN, but they are certainly accustomed to opposition. They've been educating, organizing, and empowering low-income communities for nearly 40 years. And throughout those years, they've never seen anything like this.
When John McCain's presidential campaign began sinking in the polls, they looked for a scapegoat. They picked ACORN. And now, in the past few weeks alone, ACORN staffers have received death threats in Ohio and Rhode Island, and offices have been vandalized in Washington and Massachusetts. Numerous threatening and racist phone calls have been made to ACORN offices across the country.
And then there's FOX news, accusing ACORN of all kinds of criminal activity hundreds - HUNDREDS - of times during the past few days. You know what FOX news isn't reporting? This: Just two years ago, John McCain himself stood in solidarity with ACORN, saying, " they are what makes America special."
McCain's attacks have to stop. They are wrong, and the results for hundreds of thousands of people with whom ACORN works will be disastrous. Please, take a moment today to see the Brave New Films video debunking the lies, and then ask John McCain to stop resorting to this deceptive, hurtful attack immediately. Click here:

Thank you so very much for joining me in supporting ACORN while they're in the fight of their lives.
Sincerely
Click here to stand with ACORN to fight McCain's lies.

RE: Four Eyed Monsters Episode 9 and 10
First, MySpace video player just completely sucks. I really wish they'd post these on YouTube which is capable of supporting full playback. I seriously needed to downloads these 10 times til i was able to retrieve full episodes.
Second, Susan becomes a stripper. Woh that came out of left field.
